PIANO MUSIC FROM LATIN AMERICA 

My CD collection "Piano Music from Latin America" is an all encompassing recording project which will include          dozens of composers from most, if not all, Latin American countries.


Volume 1 of this collection includes works by Ernesto Lecuona (Cuba), Luis A. Calvo (Colombia), Moises Moleiro (Venezuela), Heitor Villa-Lobos (Brazil), Alberto Ginastera (Argentina).      
     

Volume 2, features  works by Rafael Landestoy (Dominican Republic), Carlos Chavez (Mexico), Juan Morel Campos (Puerto Rico), Alfonso Leng (Chile) and Eduardo Caba, Raul Barragan, and Humberto Iporre Salinas (Bolivia)


Volume 3, features works by Manuel Saumell (Cuba), Sixto Duran and Gerardo Guevara (Ecuador), Roberto Carpio (Peru), Agustin Barrios (Paraguay), Alfonso Broqua and Philippe Courras (Uruguay)


Volume 4, features works by Ludovic Lamothe (Haiti), Oswald Russell (Jamaica), Wim Statius Muller (Curacao), Benjamin Gutierrez (Costa Rica), Jesus Castillo (Guatemala), Manuel Ponce (Mexico), Carlos Vieco Ortiz (Colombia), Cecilia Yibirin (Venezuela)


CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION:
Volume 5, features works by Ignacio Cervantes (Cuba), Juan Francisco Garcia (Dominican Republic), Camargo Guarnieri (Brazil),Carlos Guastavino (Argentina) as well as composers from Venezuela, Uruguay, Chile.


In addition to promoting Latin American piano works through his concerts, Martin Soderberg also offers Master Classes and seminars in Colleges and Universities all over the world, encouraging students to pay close attention
to this repertoire.
